Facial Procedures

Dr Saber is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, in practice for over twenty-five years. In that time, he has performed procedures that address aspects of physical beauty and rejuvenation. His vast understanding of facial balance and proportion is what makes him the doctor that you can trust your most prized possession with.

Whether one is seeking to rejuvenate one's face or correct features resulting from trauma, birth defects, cancer or accident, Dr Saber's understanding of the complex factors involving facial surgery as well as his compassion makes him uniquely qualified.

Facelift (Rhytidectomy)

A facelift can considerably reduce the signs of aging.  A facelift procedure may include removing and tightening skin around the neck and face.  Muscle coverings may also be tightened.  Facelifts are often done along with other procedures including brow lifts, eyelid surgery and facial fat grafting.  Mini facelifts may reduce the outward signs of aging with less scaring and surgery than a traditional facelift.

Forehead lift (Brow Lifts)

Forehead lift or brow lifts are used to correct low brows that may make people appear angry, sad or tired.  Brow lifts may create a smoother looking forehead that results in a refreshed, youth appearance.

Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Eyelid surgery removes excess skin and fat from the eyelids.  The procedure may also correct or improve dark troughs, circles or puffiness below the eyes.  Eyelid surgery is often done along with other facial surgery such as brow lifts or a facelift or fat graft.

Nose Reshape Surgery (Rhinoplasty)

Nose reshaping surgery is one of the most popular and effective cosmetic plastic surgery procedures.  Nose reshaping surgery is also used to correct breathing problems and, at the same time, to help improve appearance.  Dr Saber will review nose reshape options with patients so they can make an informed decision. Cheek Augmentation or Reduction

Chin surgery can change the shape of the chin to deduce a prominent chin or to extend the chin from the face.  The contour of the chin can be reshaped to be smoother, or more angular in appearance.  Cheek and chin procedures may be done along with other facial procedures such as check augmentation, or can be done with off the shelf fillers. Lip Enhancements

Beautiful lips are an important feature for everyone.  There are now many options to choose from for lip enhancements.  The appearance of our lips is now within our control.  Together, you and Dr Saber will review the options for lip enhancements and help pick the best option for you. Neck Liposuction

If you are a candidate for neck liposuctions surgery, you will begin to notice a difference in your new look almost immediately after your procedure.  Within 3 weeks of your surgery, after most of the swelling has subsided, significant appearance improvement will become apparent. (back to top)

Scar Revision

Scar revision is performed to reduce the appearance of scars caused by injury or previous surgery.  Scars are by definition permanent, but surgery can narrow, fade, and otherwise reduce the appearance of severe or unattractive scarring.  Scar revision is particularly helpful for scars on the face because they are usually visible.  Dr Saber will work with you to select from the many surgical methods of scar revision, only some of which may be appropriate for a particular type of scar or its location. Botox Injections by Dr. Saber

The Botox procedure is quick and done in the office.  This popular therapy is frequently used to reduce wrinkles and help make people look younger.  Botox benefits last 3 to 4 months, so treatments are needed 2 to 3 times per year to maintain them.  After millions of Botox treatments in the US and around the world, side effects are found to be treatable, mild and uncommon. Injections for Fat Grafts

Injections with fat grafts are often an excellent alternative for improving facial appearance.  Because it involves using your own fat cells, the benefits of injections for fat grafts may last forever and not require repeated treatments.  The infrequent downside, however, is that the fat cells may not survive.  In those rare cases, other treatments may be needed to achieve the desired benefits.  Dr Saber and you will discuss all of your wrinkle reduction and other facial procedure options so you can make a well-informed decision. Restylane

Restylane® is a hyaluronic acid filler used to smooth facial folds or enhance lips.  The Restylane® formula results in a clear gel composed of hyaluronic acid and other materials.  Hyaluonic acid is a natural substance that occurs throughout your body and is highly unlikely to cause an allergic reaction.  By leveraging hyaluonic acid’s unique ability to bind with water, Restylane remains in your skin for about six months. Perlane

Perlane is also designed to treat facial folds and sculpt areas to shape or enhance after volume loss or just to increase volume. It is a clear synthetic gel made with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance found throughout your body. Perlane is similar to restylane, but this compound contains a larger size of hyaluronic acid, and is typically used in areas that require more volume. Perlane, like all hyaluronic acid formulations, has a very low risk of allergic reaction.  Perlane may remain in your skin for up to a year or longer. (back to top)

Radiesse

Radiesse™ is another filler for facial folds and areas of volume loss. Benefits may last longer then hyaluronic acid-based treatments. As with hyaluronic acid fillers treatments are done in the office and recovery is minimal with results immediately apparent. Dr. Saber will work with you to evaluate your options for different facial procedures.  Treatments are done in the office and recovery is minimal.  Dr Saber will work with you to evaluate your options for different facial procedures. Sculptra

SCULPTRA® treatments are useful in areas of volume loss and may last two years. Because it is relatively expensive, it is recommended only for patients that want to address broad areas of fat loss. Multiple sculptra treatments are needed to achieve desired results and this may be seen as a benefit because the benefits build gradually.  SCULPTRA® treatments were FDA approved as a cosmetic filler in 2009 after being used since 2004 for treatment of major fat loss situations.  Dr Saber will discuss facial treatment procedure options with you to determine what option seems best for you.
